Service Description
Full Day Camp for students entering Grade 4-6 (Fall 2023). During this Advance Lego Engineering camp, students will be given an overview of the basic mechanical engineering concepts and build LEGO technic model with higher level of difficulty. The course will focus on the following engineering mechanisms: Multi-channel transmission systems, mechanical coordination, the movement of a body on a rotational axis, center of gravity and fulcrum, different ratchet implementations, energy depletion, recycling, etc. They will also be introduced to the concepts of software engineering, technology, entrepreneurship and math (STEM) during the entire week. Students will build a robot that moves using coding. They will learn, develop and create computer algorithms and learn how to implement codes. Examples include algorithm planning, formulation of pseudo code, flow charts, software programming, input and output implementations, loops, and sensor applications.
