Service Description
Students will learn mathematics and physical principles through intuitive study; develop their independent learning; and improve their building skills. Once the concepts have been demonstrated, students enjoy hands on building the LEGO® models which provides experiential learning and reinforces the lessons. Different themes for different session: Amusement Park, Transportation & Aviation or Classical Mechanics!! THIS IS A YEAR LONG PROGRAM (different builds each session) Examples of what students will learn: Powers and principles in physics: The lever principle, fulcrum, effort arm, load arm, torque, transmissions, types of transmission, aviation history, kinetic energy, potential energy, centrifugal force and centripetal force. Models built in class: Pirate Ship, Cable Car, Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Catapult and many more!! Famous scientific and philosophical figures: Archimedes, Sir Isaac Newton, Einstein
